There are two ways to make DIY costume jewellery with thespiral technique. The first one is to weave the beads with a needle and the second one with a crochet hook. If you choose to make a bracelet or a necklace with a needle, there are several techniques: tubular peyote, tubular Brick Stitch and the Russian spiral. We advise you to use Miyuki 11/0 seed beads with mini-hematites, Miyuki flugelhorns or PureCrystal spinning tops. You can also add PureCrystal rhinestones. If you choose to create spiral jewelry with a hook, you have to master the technique by learning the basic points.

To carry out this kind of project you must already master the basics of bead weaving. For beginners it is best to first learn the technique of Peyote or Brick Stitch bead weaving. You can learn how to read a spiral crochet grid before you start creating a spiral necklace or bracelet.
